Case Xx Knife W165 White Bone Moby Dick Hunter 1977 Nib This is a case xx knife model w165 year 1977. Knife measures 5 1/4 long closed. The knife has never been used or sharpened. The knife is in teh folding hunter pattern. This knife has beautiful smooth whiet bone handles which are in great shape w/ no cracks or chips.
The back handle has a wormgroove in the middle of the handle. These smooth white bone handles look great and boht handles match well. Cool smooth white bone handles! Front handle has a great scrimshaw of whalers harpoonnig a whale. Sweet scrimshaw!
Bolsters and backspring are in gerat shape clean and bright. The bolsters are beautifully engraved! Sweet engraved bolsters! Blade has never been used or sharpened. Blade is in great shaep clean and bright w/ no spots.
Blade looks great! Back of the blade reads serial# s1149. Blade has great snap. Tang on blade reads case xx stainless uas w/ three dots. Yaer 1977. Back tang reads w165 ssp sab. Knife comes w/ original box which is in good shape w/ some visible handling csratches around the edge of the wooden frame and the blue insert is a little faded and has a couple of ragged places.
